JP摩根的Dimon称，最严重的金融危机已经过去

去年夏天开始的金融市场危机基本已经结束，JP摩根的首席执行官周四说。

“以我看来，75%-85%的危机已经过去”。Dimon在投资公司协会大会上对共同基金的高层们如是说。

Dimon称，银行正在通过大规模的杠杆手段募集资金和对冲基金。

此次危机爆发的关键因素是是房贷，目前，没有再诞生其他的次级抵押贷款。

Dimon说，他并不能确定美国经济的走势。“目前看起来美国正处于熊市”，Dimon称，美国应该投资到基础设施建设中，包括交通和医疗保健。

另外，Dimon称，自从上次完成对贝尔斯登的收购之后，摩根大通一直就致力于吸收这家投行的一些精华。

“我们正在尽最大可能保持这家投行的精华。”

自摩根大通高层向投资者传达乐观的利好消息之后，Dimon已经是在两天内第一次表达他如是的看法。

周三，摩根大通的投资银行的联合总裁称，在次贷危机开始的时候，这家投行及其经纪公司一句成功的出售了一半的过桥贷款，约为1500亿美元。

周三早上，在德意志银行承办的一场峰会上，他说，如果在次贷危机开始的时候，过桥贷款总额为3000亿美元，那么现在很可能已经损失掉一半。

The financial crisis that began last summer and rocked markets is mostly over, the chief executive of JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM) said Thursday.

"I look at it as like (it is) 75-85% done," CEO Jamie Dimon told mutual fund executives at the Investment Company Institute's general meeting.

Dimon said banks are raising capital and hedge funds have been through massive de-leveraging.

The key aspect of this crisis has been housing, Dimon said. And he said right now there are not any Alt-A mortgages being created.

Dimon said he was less certain about the direction of the U.S. economy. "It really bears of watching," Dimon said. He said the U.S. needs to invest in infrastructure, including transportation and health care.

Separately, Dimon said JPMorgan is trying to retain talent from Bear Stearns Cos. (BSC) as it moves to complete the acquisition of the investment bank.

"We're doing the best we can to keep the best of them," Dimon said.

Dimon's comments were the second time in two days that JPMorgan executives delivered investors a generally upbeat message.

On Wednesday, the co-head of JPMorgan's investment bank, Bill Winters, said that banks and brokerage firms have managed to sell off about half of the roughly $300 billion of hung bridge loans on their books at the beginning of the credit crisis.

"If the stockpile of hung bridges was something like $300 billion at the beginning of the crisis, it's probably been reduced by half," he said on a Deutsche Bank-sponsored conference call Wednesday morning.
